I'm in the market for a new computer.....
I looked at a few, but I'm undecided on what would be the best value for the money and I know that my ET fam wont steer me wrong..... as well as having forgotten more than I wll ever know about computers!
So if you could give the pig a few suggestions, I would be grateful.
I would like to stay @ $1,200.00 for the PC
I will get monitor and stuff seperately _________________

Do you prefer certain brands?
Will you use any of your current equipment?
With 1200 you will get a nice machine, if the monitor is not included in that budget. |

what im using now is a laptop... im looking to but a new desktop machine.
I'm not particular about any brand...I would like a company that stands behind their products....something reliable that has good customer support if i should have any problems.
I can get a monitor for a hundred or so..... which isnt a big deal if it comes with one or not _________________

WOW!!!!!!!
what a list!
Either you have been planning or you have a LOT of extra time.
Either way, thank you.
Here is my only problem..... i will have all these pcs. on the floor with no way of knowing how to put them together
and if I have a problem with it, would I be able to call someone for help, or would I have to bring it to a computer guru to have it fixed? _________________

I think that company has an assembly service, too. You can ask them per email. Also, I am pretty sure there is someone either at your work or in your family who can put the pc together for you.
The list didn't take me long, since I knew what and where to look for
If you lived close to me I would be happy to put this puppy together for you, since that's one of my favourite hobbies.
What I didn't think of is the operation system, but that's highly subjective anyway |

Always remeber, if in doubt of where a piece goes, there's always duct tape! _________________
